I always look forward to your newsletters, and I noticed there wasn’t one this week. Just wanted to check in and say I appreciate your writing. Hope you're doing well!
Hi Sunshine, thank you so much! For a moment I was like, oh my god, did I not send out a newsletter this week?? But I did. You just commented on it! Maybe it's because I changed the name from Transparent Tuesdays to Call Me Charlie?
Oh, you did! I can’t believe I missed it, even after refreshing my email multiple times. Thank you for the warm response. And yes, the name change might be the culprit.
Just want to say Charlie, I love how it's been well over a year now and you're still devoted to reading and studying memoirs. Can't wait to read yours. I think your fidelity will all pay off (:
I've been reading Amy's work for a while via Substack - she posted through her grief and it was incredible. I often had to save up her issues and read them when I had the emotional strength. I can't wait to read her memoir.
I found her Substack after I started reading her book! I can understand saving them up for a specific time. I had to stop reading the book before bed. Instead, I carried it with me everywhere I went. :)

Tommy! Thank you so much. Looking forward to catching up next week!
I can’t wait to read your memoir. And also — thanks for the recommendation 📚
Thank you, Cris!!
I'm so intrigued to read this!
Elizabeth, let me know what you think when you do!
