...inspired to try breathwork...i once did a visualization to meet my spirit animal and i thought it was ALF but when i went down the tunnel of dark to meet him in the spotlight he said "You thought your spirit animal was going to be me you big dummy?" and I laughed so hard i couldn't make it to my real animal which i think was a whale or a crow or a coyote...

Lol CansaFis, as usual, I can't tell if you're joking or serious. (I think you might always be serious, and I always think you're joking.) But seriously, if you were walking down a dark tunnel I don't think your spirit animal was going to be a whale.

...it was a floating whale fwiw...so maybe a space whale...maybe in the duneiverse there is a cloud planet with space whales and that is where this one came from...this is a true story believe it or not though i am not sure what can be true about visualizing ALF and space whales other than that the $45 was well spent...

Charlie, this is beautiful, and so moving. I've done a few deep breathwork sessions in the past, and this has inspired me to try it again. Always love these Tuesday posts. 🙏

Ooh, I've had a few breathwork sessions, so this definitely piqued my interest. I love the experience you had. I used to be very incredulous about these types of experience, but at the very least they've provided me with a lightness afterwards that has served as a guide to always remember that the world is not as heavy as I think it is.

What do you mean you used to be incredulous about these types of experiences?

That I used to be skeptical that they actually altered your consciousness or provided any sort of value. But even if they don't take you to a Nirvana-like state, I've found them enlightening and overall feel good afterwards.

Totally. The first time I did it I went into it thinking it was such a joke. I couldn't believe it when something actually happened! Now I think taking time like that to breathe for an hour is just really good for my body, if nothing else.

I've heard breathwork releases a lot of stuff. I'm glad it worked for you. I'd like to try it as well sometime.
