I love stories like this when creatives do what I call, arms-length trust their gut. Something about the email caught your eye, took a chance and replied, did some homework and validation, and bam - got this new relationship and potential format. Awesome. For both parties. Getting on the road, look forward to listening to the pod.
So here is a rather unusual memoir that I really enjoyed, "Cloistered, My Years as a Nun" by Catherine Coldstream. Struck me as rather like Seven Story Mountain meets Lord of the Flies. Now here is another strange thing about the book - I looked at the reviews on Goodreads, and if that is any kind of a reliable indicator, I may be Coldstream's only male reader. I first heard about the book when Coldstream was interviewed by Terry Gross of Fresh Air. This was during the past year or so, and it could be that Coldstream is open to a podcast.
You’ve already got me wanting to read the book and I haven’t even listened to the podcast, yet. 😀
Right?! It's a great synopsis, and the story lives up to it.
That summary is one helluva hook!
Right?! And when you learn the housekeeper's secret towards the end of the book, you will not be disappointed.

Ah, Matt, yes! Serendipity can't happen unless you say yes. It was very cool how this came together.
