Great story! Still, as opposed to all these people cheering you on, I am thinking, “Couldn’t the airline have taken care of this for you? Couldn’t they have had someone in one of those little golf carts bring it to you, or at least take you to get your bag and brought you back?” Wouldn’t that have been better for everyone? Still - great job! :)

“Over the course of our marriage Sam and I had fallen into a comfortable dynamic that was starting to crumble: Sam took care of things and I let him.” YES! God, I have so much wild shame about my marital learned helplessness(es). Thank you for making me feel just a little less ashamed.

Also, I need a Jess King in my life.

HA!! God I loved this one. With you the whole way. I now need a shower from the vicarious run. Been there and done it so many times. And I love the blend into the backstory of the why it mattered and your relationship. This was just brilliant Charlie.

How in the world did we not talk about our Peloton instructor internal monologues!?

The spirit of Hannah Corbin was over seeing my connections while Jess King was helping you part a sea of people!

You are awesome Charlie Bleecker.

Wow this was a wild ride - I was with you all the way. At one point my heart was screaming ‘stop thinking and just run’ haha. Proud of you, on my levels!

Oh man. I think I would've sat down and cried if that had happened to me. LOL I felt a cramp in my side by proxy as I was reading this. Ditto to what Matt said. LOL
