Wishing your sweet son all the best!! Sounds like you and Sam offer a good balance for each other navigating uncharted parenting questions. I’m starting to wonder what an AI parenting app could look like…wonder what kinds of answers we would receive
Thank you, Catherine! Seriously! Even ChatGPT alone is incredible for parenting. Last night she told us all about opossums, and the four of us sat rapt with attention around the phone. It was infinitely better than me trying to answer all my 4-year-old's questions about opossums, when basically all I know is that they're nocturnal and that I thought they were called possums.
I enjoyed reading this one! I resonated with the line on being “sent” to feeding therapy, then speech, then OT. We had the exact same runaround with my little guy. That’s giving me an idea for an essay 🙏🏼
Parenting man! How can it feel so deeply therapeutic to actually care about another human being other than myself, and at the same accelerate the feeling that I need therapy to cope with the stress of it?
Wishing you, Sam, and your little ones all the best. There's no map (though little notes from Sam probably do help).
Aw, thank you, Jules.

Ha!!
gahhh there truly is no guide book on how to be a parent. You're navigating this very confusing universe so well @_@
Thanks, Becky... a guide book would be great lol.
I feel this so much! It’s impossible to know the “right” thing to do most of the time as a parent and even harder when you don’t have all the info
Thanks, Brooke. Impossible!

Yesss love that you're getting more ideas for essays! You're in it right now!
I am now second guessing every single note I've received from Caro's teachers... SIGH. Loved this one, Charlie.
Thanks, Emma!
